VIOLENT ACTOR CASUALTY CARE

Through the FBI Active Shooter Attack Prevention and Preparedness (ASAPP) and years of on-the-job experience HTH has created an informative 2-hour course that identifies all Violent Actors in the workplace.

This Violent Actor Casualty Care course will help determine the type of violent actor, the steps to mitigate risk, how to run, where to hide, strategies to fight as a last resort. This course combines principles from the Violent Actor Safety Course, Bleeding Control, and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care. This course is specifically designed for civilians, security officers and other non-EMS first responders.

Course duration: 6 hours
Class size: up to 20 students

Agenda: 2 hours are dedicated to classroom presentation and 1 hour is designated to skill lanes for moving the wounded, treating the wounded, setting up a casualty collection point, and triaging the wounded so first responders can transport them to definitive care quickly. The finale 3 hours are dedicated to hyper realistic scenario based training. Low light, loud sounds, role players, live patient simulation, smoke, emergency lights, etc… The purpose is to over stimulate the senses (Sensory overload) by removing senses at unpredictable times (Sensory Deprivation).
