TCCC TIER 1: ALL SERVICE MEMBERS (ASM)


This course provides the standardized Tactical Combat Casualty Care All Service Members (TCCC-ASM Tier-1). This course is a specialized training program designed to provide military service members and non-medical providers with the knowledge and skills needed to provide basic medical aid to trauma casualties in a tactical combat environment. The TCCC-ASM Tier-1 curriculum is intended to familiarize our course participants with TCCC concepts and basic lifesaving skills to ensure the basic competencies to render medical aid to a trauma casualty.

  • Course duration: The TCCC-ASM Tier-1 course is typically an 8-hour program, offering a concise yet comprehensive introduction to tactical combat casualty care.
  • Course objective: The primary objective of the course is to familiarize all service members, including those without medical backgrounds, with the fundamental concepts and basic lifesaving skills of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). TCCC is a set of principles and techniques specifically designed for providing care in combat or tactical situations.
  • Curriculum: The TCCC-ASM Tier-1 course covers key aspects of TCCC, including:
