The Ribs in a Box™ task trainer is for training students in Needle Decompression of a Tension Pneumothorax. The simulated SOFTTECH®, ROCKTECH® bone and internal membrane provide realistic feedback to the trainee, while the internal cavity can accommodate an inflated exam glove or balloon to mimic escaping air when pierced.
